Growing Up Wildcat: Winter Park High School Through the Years GRAND OPENING PARTY

The Winter Park Historical Association had their grand opening for the WP History Museum this past weekend. Their exhibition titled Growing up Wildcat: Winter Park High School Through the Years was held at the WP Farmer’s Market. Many WPHS alumni and students dressed up in 50’s and 60’s attire which included varsity shirts, hot pink satin jackets, and big hair. Once inside the ‘high school cafeteria’ guests were treated to traditional candy, jazz music, light snacks, drinks, and decor to make you feel like you were attending an old school 50’s sock hop. They also held a fashion show to showcase the prom dresses worn through the ages!

The SNAP! Studio Booth took photos of guests outside with the coolest car on the street. We would like to thank Mr. Bill R. who lent us his vintage 1969  blue Chevrolet  Chevelle. This beauty was in mint condition and was the perfect setting for this event.  Thank you to everyone who came out to show their love for WPHS and for taking photos with us! Oh! Did we mention we were able to crown multiple Homecoming Queens? Take a look at the photos and see for yourself!

All the photos are on our Gallery, Facebook, and Flickr page! We also did a special edit on the individuals photos that you can check out here.
