Hoops For Hunger by the Junior League of Greater Orlando

This year’s Hoops for Hunger Gala was held at Terrace 390 by the Junior League of Greater Orlando. The Gala featured a bucket auction, silent auction, food, music, prizes, and photos!

Numerous businesses donated their products and services to be raffled off at the auction. Items such as an autographed Dwight Howard photo, 4 tickets to the inaugural season of the Orlando Solar Bears Minor League Hockey, 3 night stay at the Portofino Beach Resort, Xbox 360 and 5 EA sports video games, a 2 hour Print Package from the SNAP! Studio Booth, and so much more!

Each year the league depends on the generosity of local businesses and organizations to help create an event that generates funds for the greater Orlando community. Proceeds from the Gala will help maintain JLGO and well as their community programs.

Father-Daughter Dance at Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church

Have you ever been to a Father-Daugther dance? Well it is the most adorable thing. If you haven’t yet then we totally recommend it. These girls were definitely daddy’s girl and they loved every minute dancing with their dad. Take your own girl there or if not volunteer and be around to help. Big thanks to Andrew and Nicole Mills, DJ Kyle 2.0 and all the volunteers at the Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church for putting together a very touching event and I’ve been hearing a lot of anticipation for next year’s Father-Daughter dance.
