Elizabeth & Richard’s Wedding at Lake Mary Events Center

Congratulations to Elizabeth and Richard on a beautiful, timeless wedding. Upon arrival of the reception hall you couldn’t help but notice the stunning black and white damask design around the room as well as the RME monogram shown on the wall. Everything from their centerpiece, to menu cards, to their cake was artfully designed and well put together. We had the pleasure of working with great vendors as well! Sherri Rinker-Thomas, Wedding Coordinator, did an amazing job making sure everything was running on schedule and it turned out perfectly. Darrin from Fun Factory Entertainment couldn’t have selected better songs for wedding. His choice of music really set the mood and got the crowd movin’ and groovin’. Arthur’s Catering, a veteran at the Lake Mary Events Center did a splendid job with the food. Not only was the food savory and delicious the presentation was excellent. Edmund and Joann from Rhodes Studios attentively captured every special moments via photography and videography. Overall, the wedding was flawless in every aspect and we couldn’t be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Maffei. <3 Check out the photos on our Facebook page!

VSO’s Tet Trung Thu at the University of Florida

The Vietnamese Student Organization at the University of Florida held their annual Tet Trung Thu show at the Reitz Grand Ballroom this past weekend. Tet Trung Thu is the Vietnamese mid-autumn moon festival in which you spend time with your family, and express love and appreciation towards one another. The festival was created as a way for families to come together and bond to make up for the lost time after working hard during the harvest season. Tet Trung Thu is a time to celebrate the harvest under the full moon, which represents fullness and prosperity of life.

The TTT show was complete with culture, laughter, and entertainment. They had a variety of performances ranging from traditional and modern dancing, singing, a lion dance, spoken word, and SSB photos. Thank you Linda Son for putting together a great show for everyone this year and we look forward to every year to come!
