Glo Run Wish 5K @ UCF Memory Mall

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida has added a new signature event to the community. The Inaugural Glo.Run.Wish 5K was held at the beautiful and spacious University of Central Florida, Memory Mall. This was no ordinary 5K run. This 3.1 mile run was held in the evening rather than in the morning. Why? Because they wanted their participants to ‘Glo!’ Each runner was given a goody bag filled with all sorts of fun giveaways including glow sticks, glow glasses, glow bracelets, and glow necklaces. Runners also enjoyed music by 101.1 WJRR Rock Station with DJ Mel Taylor and photo entertainment by yours truly, complimentary food and beverages, as well as special appearances from their Wish children.
