FAHM Closing Ceremony
WHAT – FAHM Closing Ceremony
WHERE – St. Patrick Catholic Church
WHEN – October 24, 2014
RECAP – Filipino-American History Month (FAHM) is an annual cultural affair held by UFFSA. In the month of October, we take the opportunity to celebrate our cultures past, present, and future as Filipino-Americans. We strive to share and hopefully enlighten our student body as well as the Gainesville community. Aside from talents, we also reach deep in our roots and exhibit our Filipino heritage through food and clothing. At these events we emphasize the importance of family and turn in provide for those who are not as fortunate as we are. We coordinate with Gawad Kalinga to raise awareness to those who were struck by disaster in the Philippines.
