WHY – Dear APPNA Members,
It is my pleasure to inform you that the Host Committee for the 36th APPNA Annual Convention has been working very hard to bring you an exciting, educational and entertaining event during our Summer Convention to be held in Orlando, Florida at The Rosen Shingle Creek from July 3rd – 7th, 2013. Our predecessors have worked very hard to bring the summer meeting to a convention level and we will leave no stones unturned to bring you the most memorable event. We have planned events and activities that will be enjoyable for you and your family. We are trying to learn from the mistakes of our past and at the same time, ready to set the trend for our future events.
Apart from the usual activities – 12 hours of CME lectures on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Chapter Night festivities on Wednesday night, Alliance Dinner on Thursday night, Alumni Dinner on Friday night, Annual Banquet on Saturday night, Social Forum, Young Physician Network, Young Professional network, SAYA and CAPPNA events, the meeting will have some new features as well as adoption of some past successes.
For the first time, we are introducing;
1. Clinical Workshops
– Regional Anesthesia Workshop
– Dermatolgy Workshop, General & Advanced
– MOC module (Maintenance of Certification by American Board of Internal Medicine)
2. Healthcare Screening
3. APPNA Baithak
4. Game room
5. Table Tennis, Cricket and Golf Tournament
6. Concession stands with great food, good service, clean environment and reasonable price.
7. Fashion Show by SAYA
8. Friday night Seated Dinner
9. Excellent Volunteer service
