RECAP – “Pride Awareness Month, otherwise known as “PAM,” is an annual month-long series of events focused on highlighting the culture and lives of the individuals that make up the LGBTQ community at the University of Florida. Each March through April, PAM hosts socials, forums, speakers, and performances aimed at celebrating our community while also increasing awareness, acceptance, and ally-ship. Pride Awareness Month has been going strong for over ten years, and is very unique as one of the largest student-run LGBTQ series of events across the country

Queer Prom is a fun safe space where you can hangout with friends or have a good time with your partner. Didn’t have a good high school prom? No worries. Queer Prom is the place where you can redo your prom in a safe space without having to hide your identity.”

Noche de Gala

WHEN – April 6, 2015

RECAP – Our annual Noche de Gala is entitled “I Can and I Will” to commemorate how far the Hispanic-Latinx community at UF has come!

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary at the University of Florida, it has been a goal of ours to collect the rich history of our community on UF’s campus and to acknowledge the work of previous leaders.

Come out on Monday, April 6th to celebrate with us!

Noche de Gala will take place at Straughn IFAS Extension Professional Development Center (2142 Shealy Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611).

Doors open at 6 PM
Event starts at 6:30 PM

We request that you wear Black and White evening attire if possible, Dress code is formal. Thank you!

Food will be provided.
